Pancake breakfast at fire station 1

Start your day with a sumptuous breakfast for an excellent cause as Monterey Firefighters will once again hold its annual Charity Pancake Breakfast for the benefit of MY Museum. Jumpstart your 4th of July with delectable breakfast choices like eggs, sausage, pancake, coffee and juice. Pancake Breakfast starts at 7am. Ticket price at $10 per person. You can avail the ticket online or you can purchase at MY Museum or at the Fire Station od the day of the event.

Living History Day

Monterey State Historic Park commemorates United States’ independence with another significant event – The Living History Day happening on July 4, 2017 at The Memory Garden, 20 Custom House Plaza, Monterey. This once in a year event is a must-see for the whole family. Fun games and prizes are up for grabs. You can enjoy a musical treat or take part in different historic demonstration stations like leather stamping, cooking and rope making.  This event supports school programs at Monterey State Historic Park. Ticket price at $3 for adults, $1 for ages 6-17.
 
PACIFIC GROVE


This charming Victorian town by the sea once again is inviting its locals and tourists to its yearly Independence Day treat for the whole family. The event, City 4TH of July BBQ, as it is officially named, is an old-fashioned BBQ party in Caledonia Park. It’s a 4-hour of non-stop live entertainment, good music from some local entertainers and a smorgasbord of great food. Enjoy a feast of hotdogs, garlic bread, salad, and dessert for the cheap price of $10 per person.  Visit Pacific Grove and take pleasure in their Independence Day offering for everyone.
